Sermon Summary for the Day - Pastor Gordon Strunk
The topic for today is about lying. I'm summarizing my pastor's sermon from church. Lying is one of the millions of sins. It can be looked at as the basis for all sin. When you lie, chances are your lying about something that you did wrong. So, not only are you sinning by lying, but you also sinned when you did something wrong. The devil tries to tempt us by making us think lying is the only way out of a situation.

Game of the Week - Hopewell vs. Montour (Oct. 23)
Last night, my football team improved to 8-0(5-0) with a victory over Montour 30-23. In the first, we struggled and had turnovers and mental lapses on defense. We went into halftime losing for the first time all season. Luckily, with our great coaching and our team's ability to play together and never give up, we were able to come back and win.
